Starfleet Tactical Command, or STC for short, is a long-standing organization focused on three main
principles: fun, friendship, and structured learning. Fun For almost all gaming clans, the basis of creation is just to have fun. Some take that idea a little further and create ranks and organization, but only a few take it to the level that STC has. We have incorporated numerous elements of the Star Trek world into this organization to provide countless activities, events, and role-playing opportunity. It is our hope that all people, both members and non-members, would find this organization to be a place of entertainment and excitement. Friendship Although clans are created on the basis of fun, most are created by close friends, thus creating an unsaid bond between clanners. Our organization creates that same bond between members. Members will meet, interact, and become friends with many other members during their STC career. Those friendships will empower every member of STC to become a polished and accomplish individual. Each person has the opportunity to meet new people, whether it be from STC or any of its allies. Structured Learning Fun and friends is something that is common to both STC and other clans, but one major thing sets us apart. Not only is STC is focused on providing an educational environment to its members if they so desire, but we also have many opportunities for such things; however, most learning comes from the experience gained as an STC member. Each member will meet others who are willing to teach or explain various topics or situations. STC has introduced an Academy for those wishing to enhance their knowledge of Star Trek or some of the other various topics offered by the Academy. The educational element of STC permits members to advance their position within the organization and as an individual. Together, these elements form this organization’s core. STC’s various departments, positions, and events emphasize and express each of these elements. We will always hold these principles above all that we do. |
